This article will go through the setup step by step if you are installing your Zebra Label Printer to a Windows computer
Please note that if you are having issues with these steps, please reach out to your own IT person
After physically installing your Zebra Label Printer on your computer, please following these instructions:
Step 1 - Zebra Setup Utilities
- Download the Zebra Setup Utilities for Windows from this link - Zebra - Setup Utilities

- When it has downloaded, from your computer double click on Zebra Setup Utilities icon and it will open this window
- Click on Configure Printer Settings
- The Printer Setting Wizard will appear and on the Label Parameters screen you will need to copy the below values then click NEXT
For our Dealerships that use millimetres, these are the parameters to copy:
For our Dealerships that use inches, these are the parameters to copy:
- Then set the value Darkness to 30 (leave the other fields)
- Then just click FINISH to apply all the settings
Step 2 - Zebra Browser Print Service
- Download the Zebra Browser Print from this link - Zebra Browser Print Service
See below this is the what you are looking to download
Once you have clicked on the above link - this will be the screen you need to select
Then you need to choose which Browser Print version you are after ie Windows etc
- Once it has been downloaded, run the installer executable - ZebraBrowserPrintSetup-.exe
- Select where you would like to save the Browser Print files and click NEXT
- Select where you would like to run the program from and click NEXT
- Decide if you want to have a desktop icon for Browser Print and click NEXT
- Click INSTALL
- Check the box to launch Zebra Browser Print and click FINISH
If you do not check the box, Zebra Browser Print will not launched the next time you restart your computer
Note: The Windows installer adds a shortcut to the STARTUP menu automatically
- When the program runs for the first time, the End User License Agreement will pop-up - select I AGREE
- A pop up about communicating with a web browser will appear - click OK
- In a web browser, it displays that the SSL Certificate has been accepted
- A pop up will appear requesting access to any connected Zebra devices - click YES
- The Zebra logo icon will also appear in your system tray this indicates that Zebra Browser Print is running
Step 3 - Running Browser Print
Once you have completed Step 2, you will need to make sure your Zebra Browser Print has located your printer
- From your Start up menu > right mouse click on the Zebra Browser Print icon and select SETTINGS
- The Browser Print Settings screen will pop up
These are the definitions of the above:
Default Devices
Lists the default device set for this user
This is different than the default printer set by the operating system
This can be changed once set via the Change button
Added Devices
Lists the devices that have been manually added by the user
These can be modified by clicking the Manage
Accepted Hosts
Lists web addresses that the user has allowed access to their devices
These can be removed using this option
Blocked Hosts
Lists web addresses that the user has blocked access to their devices
These can be removed using this option
Broadcast Search
Selection box allows Zebra Browser Print to find and print on network connected Zebra Printers
Driver Search
The application will display installed drivers in the discovered printer response
- What we are looking to do, is to make sure that your Zebra Printer is listing so if your Zebra is not listing in the Default Device section - click Change button
A pop up will appear with a dropdown of all discoverable devices (finding network connected Zebra printers may take a few moments)
- Select the device you would like to print to by default and click Set
- If you cannot add your printer as default, you may have to manually add a printer > click Manage button
To add a printer, fill out the Name, Device Address, and Port fields before clicking Add
- The device should appear in the list, and should be delivered as a discovered device.
- Once your printer is listing - you should be right to go and simply minimize the screen

The first time you log into Blackpurl and go to use the Zebra Printer, you may be asked if you want to use the printer from Blackpurl website - simply indicate the affirmative
