Customer Record - Adding in Contact and Shipping Address/es

This article will show you how to add Contact and Shipping Addresses to Customer Records

With the Customer Records you can add it directly on the Customer Record or "on the fly" from a Customer Order, this article will explain both options

This will allow the Dealership to record all Customer Contacts and Shipping Addresses on the relevant Customer Record 

Adding Contact and Shipping Addresses from the Customer Record 

Navigate to the relevant Customer Record and then down to the section - Contacts & Shipping Addresses

Any Contact or Shipping Addresses that is attach to this Customer Record will list in this section 

To add a new Contact or Shipping Address > click on for the Add Contact/Shipping Address popup

Give the new item a Name - this will be an identifier and then indicate by using the radio boxes if you are adding Contact or Shipping Address

For example, I am adding a new Contact to this Customer Record, complete the fields - don't forget to

Once you have it will now list in the Contact & Shipping Addresses section

Did you know that you can now use the Contact Name for searching in both the Global Search and as a Customer on a Customer Order? 

Adding a Contact and Shipping Addresses from a Customer Order

From a Customer Order > Customer section you can add an existing Contact or Shipping Address OR add new Contact or Shipping Address

If you click on it will list any existing Contacts listed on the Customer Record for you to make your selection of which Contact you want to list on this Customer Order

Once you select a Contact, you can see it in the Customer section

Adding an existing Shipping Address / Add a new Shipping Address

If you click on it will list any Shipping Addresses listed on the Customer Record for you to make your selection
