This article will explain the ways the Blackpurl and BRP integrates - only available to USA and Canadian Dealers

  • What is the Blackpurl Vendor Code for your Vendor: BRP

To find this Vendor Code, navigate the relevant BRP Vendor in Blackpurl and provide the relevant code

See below:

Integration

Once Blackpurl has been setup to have BRP integration, there are several ways that Blackpurl and BRP integrate:

1.  BRP lookup

  • From the Blackpurl Header > click on Other Tools > and then click on

  • There are two options - the ability to look up other BRP Dealerships (Dealer lookup) and also BRP Articles (Article lookup):

Option 1 - Dealer Lookup

Click into the Start searching field, the BRP Dealers will list with the nearest Dealers listing first OR you can search for a specific Dealer

Once you find the BRP Dealer you are looking for > click to open up the information about your selected Dealer

Option 2 - Article lookup

To search for a BRP article - click into the Start for an article and then search for relevant article

The user will need to know what article they are searching for

2.   BRP PO status

Dealerships will have the ability to search for the BRP PO status

  • From the Blackpurl Header > click on Other Tools > and then click on

  • Using the search fields available (Order Type / Order Status / Date Submitted), the dealership can search for the PO status of Vendor Orders

Just click into the relevant search fields for the options

3.   BRP Product Availability Lookup

Dealerships have the option of seeing the BRP Product Available at the warehouse from two places in Blackpurl:

Option 1 - Users can review the availability of BRP parts from the BRP warehouse directly from the Blackpurl Part Record

  • Navigate to the relevant BRP Part Record and then click on

  • It will then show you if the part is available direct from BRP and the quantity as well as gives you the option to show availability from Dealers near you or from all Dealers

Option 2 - Users can review the BRP Availability directly from the Customer Order screen

  • You could create a CO as per normal > Search for and add the relevant BRP part and then click >

  • It will then show you if the part is available direct from BRP and the quantity as well as give you the option to show availability from Dealers near you or from all Dealers

4.  Integrated BRP Parts Master

  • Fully automated part number and pricing update from BRP - you will no longer have to run the Automated Price File tool for BRP

  • It can be viewed through Automated Price File tool

Then scroll down until you find the relevant Vendor Price File tile:

As you can see it will run Automatic nightly to check for new part numbers and pricing updates from BRP and the tile will display when the last imported was done

It will also automatically apply TAGS to the part records which represent the product line code from BRP ie ATV /   Snowmobiles.  Parts can be given multiple TAGS based on the information supplied by BRP

You can click onto the tile to set and/or change any of the settings for the automatic uploading of the BRP Price File

It will also allow optional mapping of BRP categories to Blackpurl categories

As you can see below - BRP has three Vendor defined categories -  Parts / Accessories / Clothing - and you can map the relevant Blackpurl categories to these
