If you already have a Xero Account:

  • Create a Xero user for Blackpurl and use the email address that corresponds to your country:
    • Australian Dealerships, please use - xero.au@blackpurl.com
    • Canadian Dealerships, please use - support@blackpurl.com
    • USA Dealerships, please use - xero.usa@blackpurl.com

  • Finalise your Chart of Accounts.  There are certain General Ledger Chart of Accounts that Blackpurl needs for the integration to run ie basic default GLs.  Please contact Support for a list of these General Ledgers.

If you are signing up to a Xero Account for the first time:

  • Sign up to Xero
  • Upload your Chart of Accounts.
  • This would be a good time to discuss Chart of Accounts with your accountant.
  • It maybe the case that you just want to use the default Chart of Accounts provided by Xero but just so you are aware, Blackpurl will need certain General Ledger Chart of Accounts to be added for the integration
  • Our activation team will be able to provide this list to you and also assist you with the implementation of Xero
