Blackpurl can be fully integrated with Xero - this article will cover a few important details that you must be aware of and how to establish connection between Blackpurl and Xero



Do you have an existing Xero account


  • Log into your Xero Account


  • Create a Xero user for Blackpurl and use the email address that corresponds to your country:


  • Australian / New Zealand Dealerships, please use - xero.au@blackpurl.com 


  • Canadian Dealerships, please use - support@blackpurl.com 


  • USA Dealerships, please use - xero.usa@blackpurl.com

  • Assign the Blackpurl user to have Adviser access

  • Finalise your Chart of Accounts


There are specific General Ledger Chart of Accounts that Blackpurl will needs for the integration to run ie basic default General Ledger Accounts


Our Activation Team will be able to provide this list to you 




Are you signing up to a new Xero account for the first time


  • Sign up to Xero Account


  • Upload your Chart of Accounts
  • This would be a good time to discuss Chart of Accounts with your accountant


  • It maybe the case that you just want to use the default Chart of Accounts provided by Xero but just so you are aware, Blackpurl will need certain General Ledger Accounts to be added for the integration   


  • Our Activation Team will be able to provide this list to you and also assist you with the implementation of Xero (if required)

It is the Dealership's responsibility for entering in the opening balances (from your previous Balance Sheet and Income Statement) into your new Xero
